Ho ho ho!!! Mr Noob here from south Orange County, CA. I am the proud owner of a 2012 629 six inch 44 mag and a M&P 9mm.

In the meantime I am trying to learn about removing the lock from my 629 and if it was necessary to put the plug in it after removing the flag.

P.S. I may mention this in another forum, but it was exciting enough to mention here. I shot a friend's S&W 500 (8inch barrel) the other day and it was just badass. I cannot afford to shoot the beast on a regular basis, but man oh man was she a beauty.
