New to list. just got my new m&p 15-22 new years eve. But before I got it I called CCI ammo factory and Remington about production. CCI is shut down for 2 weeks. Talked to the security guard, he says 2 guards watching the idle plant. Then I called Remington. the man said they are running 24/7/365 But he expects late spring when the new plant that will double production starts up an increase in supply. Hope this happens so all can feed your hungry guns. This is all true realtime info. Biggb

CCI closed for two weeks! Un-American, I tell you. BTW, I better check on that itch.

Gee, a plant shuts down for vacations, end of year inventory, etc ...

Imagine that. :)

That's what I was thinking.

"...you mean the employees were home with their families for Christmas and new years? That's outrageous!"

LOL..... and will definitely lead me to buy more CCI products. Nice to see another great American company with their priorities in order. Those guys in Central Idaho have the right idea.

22 ammo will always sell. If your (assuming "you" is the company owner) employees are happy, they work more efficiently and effectively, increasing your profits. You end up with better retention, a better workplace, and a more smoothly run shop/factory.

A family first product second business is the American way in my opinion.

Must have been a VERY profitable year.....

S&W shuts down for two weeks the end of July, first of August. I would also think they are down a number of days during the Christmas/New Years holidays. And they are selling guns as fast as they can build them.
