Nosler Defense

Nosler has long been known for their bullet design and composition. Many hunters have used them with great success.

Nosler Defense handgun self defense ammo is relatively new on the market. I am intrigued by it. As you can see in the pic, it's not just a polymer ball like Glaser Safety Slugs or Corbon Powrball.

I shot a box of the 124 gr +P 9MM through my Glock 19 yesterday. Worked as well as any other premium self defense ammo. Accurate too.

I purposely waited until the gun was good and dirty before shooting the Nosler ammo. After 400 rounds of range ammo through the gun, the Nosler fed and extracted just fine.

Can't say that this will replace the Federal HST I carry now. I'll wait until this ammo proves itself to be worthy.

Fed. HST and Speer Gold Dot are proven.

I don't care for the Hornady poly tip SD ammo ..........
maybe this poly bullet will expand better and penetrate:

1: Enough to meet spec's
2: Not over penetrate a 4G test !!

Nosler makes their own bullets. Very nice stuff.

Don't know who makes their full-up ammo. Hard to tell these days. Ruger's new line of ammo is made by Polycase and it is also untested.
Wilson Combat has a line too. Who knows whence it comes? S&W and Colt used to market "their" ammo too, but they are gone.
