Ya want somethin to really chap yur ***...Get shot in the gut before breakfast.
And I ain't kiddin neither. :rolleyes::D:D

Su Amigo,
Dave

I think I'll pass but it does kinda put things in perspective

What chaps me is anyone who thinks they work harder, had a tougher life, have worse luck, or any other excuse to act sub-human. Bob Marley said it best, "Everyman thinks his burden is the heaviest." Bet you never thought you'd see Marley quoted on a gun site. He carried.

What he be carryin', mon? A couple of blunts and a pint of Mt.
Gay rum? :D

What really chaps me is the fact that the Good Lord can make some really beautiful women, hardwire the male to adore those beautiful women in many ways, and then sets the rules in opposition  !

Obviously, to keep the universe in harmonic disarray, God makes some really ugly women, hardwires them to live, overweight, with a cat, in an apartment and bitch about the beautiful women with men in attendance. God hath no fury like a jealous woman.

My list would include:

1. Folks who let their kids indulge in unacceptable behavior -- a week ago, I watched a lady with two kids aged about 4 and 6, walk down an aisle at Wal-Mart, with her kids deliberately knocking things off shelves, they lady acted like she was oblivious to this and when I mentioned to her that someone might trip and fall on the dislodged merchandise, she gave me a look that would melt steel.

2. People who wear hats inside a movie theater (in particular cowboy hats) -- now I have nothing against hats and own a bunch of them, considering the sun in South Louisiana, but you don't need to be conversant with Emily Post to know it is impolite to wear a large hat indoors in the dark, at a movie theater -- I mean, there is no sunlight to protect against in a dark theater. However, there are those who think that their "persona" requires said hat indoors and that it is their privilege to do so -- recently, while taking my sons to a movie, this doofus did just that, sat in front of my youngest, who then could not see the screen. When I asked politely if he would remove his hat, I got a string of profanity (doofus was 18 -20 yrs old) -- I then stood up and told him that if he did not either remove his hat or go sit elsewhere, I would have theater management/law enforcement encourage his compliance, he got up and moved. But, it should have been just common courtesy to not wear the hat in a theater to begin with.

3. Folks who do not put their hand over their heart or remain silent during the playing of our national anthem -- I have no hesitancy to correct such rude behavior.

I am not a curmudgeon but I am disappointed at the lapse of civility in our society -- my parents raised my brother and sisters and I with a deep sense of respect for others and an appreciation of the value of good manners.

The biggest thing that gets me is tailgaters.

If they want to risk their lives getting to wherever they are going faster than the speed limit allows so be it. Don't risk mine, or my family's, life / lives in the process.

The only thing worse than a tailgater, is a tailgater talking on the phone or texting......

for a minute there I thought you were chapping on the good people who like to party and grill out in the parking lot before a football game. LOL

What really chaps me is the previous lack of these threads!! Some of these are flappin' hilarious!! A little more on the serious side is this-------I own a Harley motorcycle..........I HATE WINTER!!!!, err, 'scuse me...Winter really chaps me...................:)

DW

Who's Bob Wills? (sorry....please don't respond, I couldn't resist! I must be a Yankee)

What chaps me is "Mean People". Oh, and the ettiquette used by some nowadays with cell phones. Wife and i went to a restaurant for lunch yesterday and group of about 8 people walk in, probably from the same office/job site. They are seated next to us and for the entire meal one lady was jabbing on her phone. Never once put the darn thing down to talk to her friends/co-workers. She ate her whole meal holding the phone to her face. Rude and inconsiderate to everyone at her table.

I hate text messages. I hate seeing people text. I hate seeing my wife arguing with one of her employees through text. Call and yell at them like a good boss. No misunderstanding my tone when an employee has the nerve to argue. My cell phone is a phone, period. Oh yeah, and a calculator, oh, and a calender. I forgot alarm clock, and just a clock, and....never mind, text all you want. I tried and it takes me 10 min. to write one word. So I cancelled texts 'cause they're stupid.
