NRA car window sticker

I have no bumpers so no need for a bumper sticker, my windows are tinted so no one would see any window sticker anyway. I do have Subaru badges though on one car and nothing on my Mustang.

Speaking of bumper stickers, did anyone else notice that during the recent election cycle there were very few political bumper stickers to be seen for either party? And also very few yard signs? At least in my immediate area, I don't think I saw a single yard sign for either Trump or Clinton, and only a few for local races (judges, sheriff, etc.) I always wondered what the logic was behind anyone having a "Vote for xxxx" sign in their front yard even if they were ardent supporters. I can't imagine it would influence any voters. Same for bumper stickers, for any candidate or cause. Is someone going to join the NRA because I have an NRA window sticker?

By the way, I always gather up political signs after the election, the ones with the wire legs. They make dandy target holders, much better than cardboard.

So I get the idea of not advertising yourself as a target, and not affixing stickers which may incite the unstable. However, stand for something, or stand for nothing, as my father would say. So, my Gadsden flag sticker is proudly displayed on my truck. My compromise is to fly under the radar of the anti crowd, with lesser known stickers: ar-15 bolt face, over and under shotgun breech face, etc. That way, those of like mind, know what they mean, and those that don't, well, that's just fine with me.

I've had an NRA sticker on the back of my truck (with a few other stickers) for probably 10+ years now and drive between North Carolina all the way to central Florida a few times a year. I have never had a problem because of it and neither has anyone else. Around here I see them all the time on other vehicles too. I don't even think most thieves know what an NRA emblem looks like.

I think it's a poor time in history to display support of any past time, political party, religious affiliation or any personal information on your motor vehicle. Most certainly nothing That would encourage anyone to break into your vehicle.

There's lots of people driving around with bad wiring between their ears and you never know what might set them off. If you have a "I heart Ford" sticker some guy driving a dodge might want to do a little road ragin' on ya.

I don't have any stickers on my truck and the only one I'd EVER have says "I don't care what you heart, who's on board or what you'd rather be doing!".

Boys, I even take the dealership sticker off my new truck!:)

You know it would be fun to put Coexist, a rainbow flag, an NRA sticker and the stars & bars on the same car though!:)

Can you imagine the looks you'd get at the stoplights!

NA sticker

Can't speak to any statistical data but I will not put any firearm related signs or decals on my car. To me, they are like putting a sign on the car that says "come and steal my gun!" Why make yourself a target?
I have been an NRA lifer for a long time, now a Patron.
I also have the concern about my vehicle getting "keyed" by someone who opposes gun ownership and the NRA.

Means there's a big, heavy, expensive cooler hanging around somewhere close . . .

I kinda wondered because several around here made the news on being stolen. I never caught the news stories on them at the beginning to here what the item was.

Well, you could put a bumper sticker on your car that says something like
" reasonable gun control is reasonable" and see if that keeps your vehicle from being broken into.

I prefer one that says " If you can see this, I can see you"

Good ones. I prefer "I catch you breaking in to my car? you may wind up getting shot!" Would I actually put a sticker-or other sign out? doubt it but, I still like the "sound" of it. A few weeks ago==a friend of mine gave me an antique metal thermometer sign that has anyone looking at it--facing the the guns barrel face on. I do have it inside my home. I forget what the message says on it? but the recipient of what the message is designed for--would not like it. This thermometer is before WWII vintage.

I don't have any gun-related stickers on my car and don't display my handicap parking placard except when the vehicle is actually parked.

I don't wear gun-related clothing. I do have one dark-green oiled canvas cap with a very discreet S&W logo embroidered in the same color, but rarely wear it.

My preference is to maintain a low profile and not do anything to advertise gun ownership or physical limitations. I have no desire to attract the interest of some idiot who might feel challenged by a bumper sticker that says "Insured By Smith & Wesson". I just want to be an unobtrusive (but alert) little old man, quietly going on his discreetly-armed way.

At my age, and in declining health, I don't need complications and can't afford to replace stolen guns.

The most my gun or company look--is a cap I bought over a year ago that has black and dark greens camo--and velcro spaces for putting on whatever patch that suits your fancy. Mine on front-has a very dark discreet patch showing a Spartan helmet-and the words ;"Molon Labe." Almost nobody knows what that is and THINKS it has something to do with the movie 300--as a movie collectable. The back in bold white letters says: "PRO GUN. Sometimes I grab this cap on the way out of the house because its the one I just happen to grab, out of about 10 caps. Pro gun people make themselves known to me when riding on a bus-or eating at a restaurant etc. The antis just keep their mouths shut for the first time in their lives.

BTW, this cap is worn mainly at gun shows and where I know my likes are shared by the vast majority--like my gym for instance.

The only "political" sticker on my truck says "Teddy Roosevelt for President".

Covers everything. Guns, hunting, outdoors, the Big Stick in foreign policy, conservation, what have you. But I never got anything but positive comments, especially during the last campaign season.

And any lowlifes scouting for a break-in target are unlikely to remember enough of their high school history to draw the inference that my truck might be more likely to have a gun on board.

I have one but never put it on my car but it said: "Boone-Mingo for Pres and Vice Pres 08-more than ever. " Or something like that.

Around here-quite the opposite. I started seeing stickers for clinton for pres back in 2012. I was walking in a parking-lot and the guy drove by me window down. I loudly (not intentionally) exclaimed: "you gotta be kidding?" The guy shrank in his seat and said his wife demanded so. Anyway--I saw many more stickers advertising the two main runners for the dem side. Same thing with yard signage..

Believe it or not I had a guy go off on me because of a Cabella's sticker on my car.
