NRA Convention Who's Going?

Who's going to the NRA Convention in Phoenix at the end of the week? I plan on being there pretty much all day on Friday. Should we have an S&W Forum get together over beverages?

I'll be going. I have a reservation at the Budget Lodge from Thursday through Monday. It's not the best extablishment, but at $50 a night and less than a mile away I figured I couldn't go wrong. I was planning to walk from the hotel to the convention center but I now have a cast on my left foot so I'll probably drive down. I'm not sure if I will stay there the whole time. I tried to get a sticky for this topic but I haven't received a response.

I'm all for a forum get together during or after the show.

I'll be driving in on Thursday sometime and staying until Sunday.

I'm leaving home on Tuesday morning and doing some visiting on the way.

Mr and Mrs Greyhawk178 will be there. I do not remember which hotel (I think a Hilton) near there and we plan on registering on Thursday to, hopefully, avoid the Friday registration crowds. Look for an old fart using oxygen with a gorgeous wife.

I wasn't able to volunteer, but am planning to spend Saturday and Sunday checking out the exhibition hall. Maybe they'll be some sort of notice/bulletin board? If there's to be a forum rendezvous, please post.

I believe the latest plan from the e-mails that I've seen going around is happy hour 6:00? at the bar at the downtown Sheraton. Hope to see some of you there.

You guys have a great time. I attended the last 2 and had a great time. Last year I had custom earplugs made while there.
