NRA lifetime membership

I finally paid off my NRA lifetime membership and am bona fide! I even got two packages with a scroll, pin, and membership card so I guess I'm good for two lifetimes!

You should fly the life emblem on the forum. Click "User CP" and select "Edit Your Details" (on the left). Scroll down and you'll see the option. After you've selected "Life", scroll to the bottom and click "Save Changes".

I did mine back when it took 6 months to pay off the membership cost of $300.00.
Dang, I'm gittin' old.

Mine was $250. It's been awhile. If I kick the bucket today it would have been around $7 a year for the magazine. I have never received a phone call from the NRA. That probably is because I've never logged onto their web site. However, I do get solicitations by mail but only a few times a year. They probably have had to trim their budget since Trump was elected. Obama was their best fund raiser since Bill Clinton.

I joined the NRA in January 1978, in November I did the $300 upgrade to Life. They credited me $1.25 for December's dues. I had 3 years to pay the $300 at $25 per 3 months. I believe I paid it off in 6 months.

I still wear my "Millennial Endowment Member" hat from when I up graded in 1999. Has a great weaving U.S. flag and NRA emblem.

In 2009 I went to Patron.

In 2015 I went to Benefactor.

I have a number of trinkets they gave as premiums, but the one I enjoy most is the Patron oversized tie tack. It just looks the best of the 5 they gave me! Surprisingly, green goes with everything!
