Which money? The NRA is apparently composed of several different parts, each incorporated separately. So, money that went to the ILA is controlled by the ILA. And so on.
It's like Hertz, when they went bankrupt. Some people expected that they would have to liquidate and there would be cheap almost new cars for sale.
The problem is that the car rental part of Hertz doesn't own the cars. They lease they from the separate Hertz corporation that actually owns the cars. In some cases, they lease them directly from the manufacturers.
In either case, the Hertz car rental corporation doesn't own them. Same with many Hertz facilities. They lease those. They might even have a realty corporation that does that part.
IANA and even if I were, this corporate stuff is highly specialized so it would take a lawyer who specializes in that to explain it.
I don't even think that this will affect life members like me or benefactor members.
