Question on reciprocity

One thing I wasn't sure of was if my current state of residence would recognize my AZ permit as a NR if I had established residency in my current state. Anyway, the permit for my current state reciprocates with 39 others. The ten who don't are places I haven't lost much. I don't know about WY's six months rule, but would guess that getting a DL as soon as the last moving box is carted inside and getting into a permit class shortly there after and applying for a permit would not be a problem. Most states require new residents to get a DL and register vehicles (pay taxes) within 60-90 days of washing up in the new local.
