What is the difference between the two? If any.

Is "insureyourgunrights.com" still available as what I understand is that it was available for election year. I received a introductory offer with my new S&W M&P I bought.

I did not try to subscribe until I found this out.

Thanks.

If you want to insure your guns check with your insurance company. Even if you need a "rider" it will most likely be cheaper than any alternative, let alone easier to file a claim.

After I took the optional additional coverage on my homeowners policy, my agent directed me to the NRA endorsed insurance for additiional coverage because it was cheaper than his. He was right.
You have to check for yourself and see how your insurance options compare, as homeowners varies widely between companies and different states.

You DO NOT have to register individual guns with the NRA endorsed insurance, while many insurance companies DO require it.

Thank you both for your help.

I guess I needed to clarify more my intent, I was checking to see if the membership was the same, in that the NRA was $35.00 and @ insureyourguns.com NRA website was a promo for $25.00.

I called the NRA, it is the same, and I am now a member.

Thank you OKFC05, just activated it.

I get the Free Insurance stuff from NRA regularly. It took reading this post to get me to sign up for it. Information overload in snail mail.
