Today I responded to a E-mail. I typed out a lengthy well thought our respondse. Since I am computer challanged, I had my wife try to save my draft and forward the message. Murphy or the devil popped up and she somehow lost my letter. She feels bad, I told her god must have interveined as I did get rough in the letter. Is there any way to retrieve my masterpiece? I have tried all the usual stuff, is it hopeless? I know I cant write another as well. I spent a couple hours composeing the first one as it was a touchy family affair! Thanks!

Feral,
I feel your pain.:D
I don't know how many times I have composed a brilliant, witty response to something on a forum only to have it disappear into never-never land.
Now I try to remember to compose in Word or some other app that I can save frequently. (and then just paste it in.)

Feral,

Good advice. I often compose email in WORD and paste it over to send.

Also, for long emails try not put in the recipiants address until you are ready to send it. I don't know how many times I accidentally sent an email before I was ready to.
