This is in no way a "political statement" so please don't go there. I posted this as an attempt to show where the "anti-gun" people get their energy!

I read an article today posted on the web by Comcast and written by the Associated Press Appeals court: NYC's big-soda ban unconstitutional | General Headlines | Comcast which talks about the Supreme Court Appellate Division's ruling that the N.Y. City's ban on big soda drinks is unconstitutional. In this article, NYC Mayor Bloomberg is quoted as saying this in March; "We have a responsibility, as human beings, to do something, to save each other. ... So while other people will wring their hands over the problem of sugary drinks, in New York City, we're doing something about it."

The mayor's statement above, especially the part that I have bolded, is to me one of American society's greatest threats - government attempting to structure the lives of its citizens as they see fit. With this type of mentality invading our society, its no wonder that these same people are striving to take away the citizen's right to keep arms. What I just can't understand is where people like this come up with these far fetched "visions". I also can't understand how they feel they have a right to try and enact laws, laws so silly and intrusive that the average American laughs at them. Millions of dollars wasted fighting over nonsense like this while the street sales / importation of illegal drugs is at an all time high. If you want to start saving "each other", put that same energy and money to use where it will help save several generations along with this country's future. With people like this "leading the way", gun rights people had better be ready for the fight of a lifetime. Incredible  !

Well I heard that if you pay $500 and go through an extensive medical backround check you can get a permit so you are able to order a 32 ounce big Gulp. You can not sell the Big Gulp to anybody who is not registered with the Mayors office and you must not use the Big Gulp for self defense. Isn't NYC GREAT?!!!

:)
