NYPD Blue again

The Audience Channel on Direct TV started running NYPD Blue yesterday starting with the pilot episode, in HD, no commercials either woohoo. I didn't start watching originally until well into the second season. Dennis Franz is awesome! My younger son watched with me (I dvr'd it), he got quite a kick out of it. I was never a big fan of David Caruso but at least in this episode I liked his character.

Suddenly 1993 seems like a very long time ago lol.

I'll be recording this one. Airs 7pEST

I was only 13 at the time but I do remember seeing all those commercials for "tonight's episode of NYPD Blue"...

I watched it all the time one of my favorites along with Hill St. Blues.

NYPD Blue has always been on of my favs. Anytime it is being aired that I know about I will watch it. David Caruso is not one of favs. either but Dennis Franz is tops in that program.

Never liked Caruso either and was glad when he left the show!

There was a time in my life when I had an onerous job and some nights I had trouble sleeping. We didn't have cable so I would just flip on whatever late night fare was on the broadcast channels.

Some station was re-running the early episodes. I happened to catch the pilot episode and was immediately hooked.
