Model 45

Just wondering if you sold your Model 45? Might be in market.
What is condition? Thanks, AB

I went to o.g.c.a.and I joined I am now a member.i was impressed with the show there was a lot of nice s&w's and other guns.i met jim fisher and his wife and checked out his s&w display it was really cool.i had a lot of people want to see the model 45,some knew what it was most did not.the fugate brothers were there and he made an offer of 2500.00 and later I got another offer for 2600.00.jim told me he had one in his collection and was real impressed with the condition of my model 45.he said he would value mine at 3200.00 to 3500.00.i still have the model 45 and have decided I would probably let it go for 3000.00 if I don't get that i'll keep it.they will just continue to go up in value and really are a great, rare s&w.i have another forum member bruce who is interested and I gave my number to a couple of others at o.g.c.a. and one guy is very interested and said he will be in contact with me.i really feel 3000.00 would be a fair price for both parties.

Curt - why not place an ad in the classified section - put a price on in it and post some pictures.
That would be the best place to sell your Model 45.

I am not able to post pictures and have always felt the best transactions are face to face where you can see and handle what you are buying.a real good friend of mine has offered to post it on line for me and I may do that at some point.this model 45 is the nicest condition revolver that I have possibly ever seen to date,it is really that mint.i sometimes really feel I should just keep it.thanks curt.

Take you're time on selling it. It's hard at that price to sell on the Internet. It would be nice to keep but the money would be handy. I would also feel the person should see it. Good luck with your choice Curt, Larry

I am sorry I never got back to you and some others as well.it was a hecktic day and when I got there and joined,i didn't have enough time,i thought the show ended at 4"00 and not 2"00.i still have the model 45 and I am getting a lot of pm's.for those who didn't see it,model 45 no dash,99%,blue finish,4 in, barrell, diamond magna stocks, all matching numbers,in the box, with tools and some paperwork.serial no. range c 4297xx.the gun is as nice as I have ever seen, thanks curt
