Men...we need to all thank the Senators that listened to "The People" and did what they were hired to do...(Support the people that elected them) this is not about the Party...its about the Constitution, the Second amendment...and the will of the people.
Remember to write the ones that went against our wishes and remind them to start job hunting. thanks to all the members here that took the time to write and call their elected reps and put the pressure on...keep it up.

Thank you for keeping your Oath and defending the Constitution of the United States and protecting the Second amendment. thank you for listening to the people that voted to elect you. I will work to help re-elect you next election any way I can...I will also do everything I can do to see that Senator Shaheen does not get re-elected for supporting her party instead of the people that voted her into office. I agree...I have tried to contact senators from other states and sometimes run into a wall that unless I am from their district....they will not take my e-mail....but I will keep trying. Its a full time job even keeping up with my own state right now...but yes...good point and I will try to do that. We need to knock down these unconstitutional bills in ststes that are "infringing"...and it will happen and is happening. These unconstitutional bills will be challanged and torn apart. Next election...we need to do some serious weeding of the garden.

I just looked at how the senators voted, not a shock, for the most part it was down party lines with the exception of a few Dems, some of whom I think are wanting to keep their jobs in the future. It is a shame that the liberial thinking is that stripping all Americans of their rights will stop the violence. I will be letting one senator know I appreciate his efforts and will let the other know my displeasure with his decision.

This is the standard by which this administration measures all issues, place the blame somewhere else and lies while doing so. If we survive as a country until 2016 I sure hope we continue to hold our elected officials to their oath of office but I sure wish there were not so many different ways that something can be explained. Would be nice to use the Right or Wrong theory but everyone thinks they are Right! The only thing that guides me is the fact that other once strong countries were disarmed and then became dictatorships. I do not intend to allow my children or grand children to have to succumb to an oppressive government. We should continue to elect senators and representatives who we believe are pro Second Amendment and pro Constitution and hold them accountable when they betray our trust. Without our Second Amendment the others are meaningless!

Bottomline: I simply don't trust government, especially democrats, they should enforce laws to penalize criminals, and protect legal owners in the case of justified homicide (any gun toting criminal deserves death). Also they should eliminate laws solely designed to harass law-abiding citizens. I consider myself to be the 90% in the Fox poll, yet I opposed the Manchin-Toomey amendment because they did not address gun-registry issue (give the criminal history to credit reporting agency and let them run the mandatory background check and give exceptions to friends/relatives). I think no one here don't want criminals to get guns, but that risk is outweighed by government registry, how about prosecuting the Missouri state employee for sending sales record to ATF?

He is a spoiled brat. He is also the most dangerous threat to liberty, freedom and decency our nation has ever faced. It ain't over. These people are committed to doing anything it takes to destroy the second amendment. Stay vigilant and remember to thank the Senators that voted for freedom.
