My boys are currently chasing each other from one end of the house to the other end of the house. They have destroyed my bed playing sheet monster (one under the covers and the other on top chasing and jumping on the one under the covers). I love watching them get the zoomies and playing until they crash to sleep the rest of the afternoon.

Crashes and bangs are not unusual here in the wee hours of the night.

Well, this explains why our gang has seemed more excited today. Not sure how they knew but that is just another unexplained cat mystery I guess. 
As I think about it though they think EVERY day is cat day.
That is Duke in the middle pic. the pic of the cat behind him is the late great Frito. He's the guy that turned me into a cat lover.

A little bittersweet here.
We lost our beloved Oliver Kitty to cancer last month. He had purrsonality.
We still have Chessie Cat. He's a good little boy. But nowhere near as interactive as his late brother. He's the one in the window.
Every day is cat day in the QD67 household.

As others have said, every day is National Cat Day, at least in their eyes, and of course we have no option but to agree.
