Oddball Triple Lock "half target" on its way

Hondo44, I appreciate the replies. I feel like someone with a barn find Model T trying to make it run off modern 87 octane unleaded gas. But that's part of the fun of collecting. What I definitely DO NOT want to do is remove metal from a somewhat historically significant pistol that doesn't need to be taken off. But 2000 grit is extremely gentle --- I'll try that next.

I got my Triple Lock back from Mountain Shadow Arms in Post Falls, ID, a re-FFL-ugee formerly in Washington State along with several other businesses now in N ID. They deepened the charge holes a smidge and cold blued both the recoil shield and back of the cylinder.

Worked great with .45AR. My full moons wouldn't fit around the star, but loading them individually was fine. They're considerably more stout and the webbing of my hand felt it, which surprised me out of such a big wheelgun. My .45ARs are 185gr @650fps and the .45ACP is standard 230gr @830fps...almost double the muzzle energy. I don't think I need to (or should) punish this old TL with .45ACP much.

The CZ RAMI was there with its own issue, ejecting straight back into my forehead, which I solved with about 30 seconds with a straight file to encourage fired brass to head out to the right.
