Hi All,
I know there are a number of LEOs on this forum. There was a Rockdale County Sheriff's Deputy shot and killed in the line of duty Saturday afternoon. Here are the news articles and Officer Down Memorial Page:
Rockdale Citizen - RCSO deputy killed
Rockdale News - Deputy killed in line of duty identified
Officer Down Memorial Page
Funeral arrangments were just announced for this Deputy today, they are listed on the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office web site.
There was orignially not going to be a procession, however I just got notice that there would be from Scott Ward Funeral Home to First Baptist Church of Conyers. I don't have a definate route at this time.
This is a very close knit community and the first officer down in any current resident's lifetime. I am posting this for those that live in Georgia and surrounding areas that may be able to attend the procession route.
Thank you goes out to all of you officers that put your lives on the line every day!! The citizens cannot say thank you enough for what you do.
Cheers,
Sam
