OFFICIAL (IN-STOCK) 15-22 Magazines

Not in stock but I ordered 12 (10 round long) and 12 (10 round short) magazines from S&W a few weeks ago. At that time I was quoted a June / July delivery. I came home from work today and my wife said FedEx delivered a package. Not my entire order but it did contain the 12 (10 round long) magazines. Way better than $75-$100 per magazine on GunBroker.

Looks like I will be visiting my friend's house in PA this weekend. Sure hope he has a rubber mallet and a screwdriver.

Don't forget to cushion the mag lips on a towel that has been folded multiple times.....

My LGS had (3) 25 long S&W 15-22 mags in stock at lunch time for $29.99. I already have 10 of them so I left them for the next person. They also had a ton of the crappy Plinker Tactical not to mention a ton of other mags they were putting on the shelves. They must have just got a big shipment in. The counter was full on the 10/22 mags.

I've got the OEM 25 rounder, and 4 Promag 33 rounders now, but I really need to get my hands on a few 10 round shorts for rimfire competition.

If anyone can get their hands on some spares and is willing to be real about the price, hit me up. I've got a bunch of stuff up for trade too in the classifieds.

I received an email notice from signing up several mos ago have not seen any bad reviews on any other forums but as they say YMMV. First time I've seen anything go back into stock with them. They are not showing up on Gunbot, I ordered a couple just to see already rec'd email confirmation and remaining stock dropped accordingly we'll see soon enough.

10 rd long mags ordered 4/16 from Lanbo's rec'd today. Pretty quick shipping for a small shop. :)

Chose to order from midway and haven't got mine yet. Obviously chose wrong lol

Did anyone else receive AK mags from Landos instead of 15-22 like we ordered? I emailed them about the mess up, hopefully they correct this!

EDIT: Lanbo is taking care of the issue very professionally. I definitely recommend this retailer.

Yesterday I received the two 25 round 15-22 magazines I ordered from S&W on 12/29/12. I already had 4 so I am all set for a long time...at least until the madness subsides.
Now if everyone out there would just place an order for few or pick up one of two when they see them in a store instead of cleaning out inventories, everything will gradually come back to normal. I understand the initial panic when it looked like there might be a magazine capacity limit but it looks like that has now passed, at least at the federal level.
I wonder just how many magazines any of us really need. I thought about it and at my age (58) the 6 I have just might last me the rest of my life. Like most gun enthusiasts I own several guns with 5 chambered for 22lr so I don't shoot my 15-22 exclusively. Based on the 2000-3000 rounds of rimfire I shoot per year and those being spread out over the 5 guns I currently own, those magazines should never wear out. How many do the rest of you realistically think you need?

I have 2 10/22 magazines that have finally worn enough to no longer feed the rifle consistently. These were pre-ban magazines, so I have had them a long time ~20 years. The problem was the plastic feed lips. I like the new Ruger magazines with their steel fee lips.

I hope the plastic that S&W uses, and all pmags for the same reasons, lasts as long as the plastic in the older 10/22 mags.
