OK, I've had enough of "Tactical" but this is way over the top!

Just got the new Midway USA Flyer.

There is now a "Cold Steel TACTICAL Tomahawk!

Come on now, are they serious??

Where do I attach the Picatinny Rail and Tactical laser light combo??

Sure glad it comes with a Secure-Ex sheath The wood handle version just doesn't look tactical enough

Cold Steel Trench Hawk Tactical Tomahawk 3-1/2" 1055 Carbon Steel Blade 19" Overall Length Polpropylene Handle Black - MidwayUSA

Sir, that's nice and all, but I think I'll wait for the "strategic" version.

Hope this helps, and Semper Fi.

I hope to have my latest invention, tactical shoe laces, on the market by spring. At he moment, I'm working on a tactical can opener for the ladies, and a tactical all terrain tricycle for the wee folks....:)

.....it seems most anything could be tactical. If you jam enough dry toast in somebody's mouth and nose and kill them with it, I guess that was tactical toast???
Absolutely.
The Russians tested toast extensively in the 60's and found it to be quite lethal. I can't remember if pumpernickel or plain rye was found to be the deadliest.
If you can dig up pics of Russian troops from that era, you might notice that one of their mag pouches is shorter and wider than the regular AK mag pouch. That is the toast pouch. I'm not sure if it was issued to all troops, or only Spetsnaz.

My wife keeps my Estwing roofing hatchet on her side of the bed. She's never had to use it, but then again, I try really, really hard to be good. ;)

I bought a roofing hammer/hatchet at a garage sale for $.50. It's actually pretty nice. I left it in the truck within reach within the $.50 sticker still on it. Stupid maybe, but who knows.

I read an article a couple of years ago about a Army Ranger in Iraq going hand to hand with an terrorist. The young Ranger sent the terrorist to the land of the 72 virgins with a Tomahawk.

Roger's Ranger Rules #1. I guess if it was good enough for Major Rogers, it was good enough for him.

And recently some Members of the Queens Guard (IIRC? Sorry for any errors) sent several bad guys to the land of Virgins with a BAYONET CHARGE!!

My favorite Tacticool item has to be a guy who had a table at the Reno shows with a homemade knife that looked like something a Klingon would carry. He had kydex holsters for thie monstrosity and even did training sessions.

EVERY single time I saw him....I thought of the scene from "Raiders of the Lost Ark"....the big guy with the scimitar doing his series of motions, with that BIG scimitar....and Indy simply whacks him with his pistol and walks away.

The baseball bat and ball peen do not qualify as there is no "Tactical" notation. Come on now you're a lawyer, you should know this stuff!:D

One of the best scenes in any movie, ever, hands down. :D I wonder if Indy's Colt was considered "tactical" back in the day?

How 'bout Tactical Elmo....the newest sensation sweeping the nation. No, wait....that was Tickle Me Elmo. Well, they almost got it right.

My wife wanted a hatchet instead of a hand gun when I travelled. We settled for a sticker on the window that said "Warning: House protected by hysterical woman with hatchet". Never had a problem. Enough said.

You will see the baseball bat, ice pick, and tomahawk mounted on a 15-22 before the end of the year, mark it now.

now i will go ahead and say that a tomahawk is a pretty decent weapon, its proven in battle and thats good enough for me.

So far my favorited was a bayonet style tool designed to be afixed to an M4 for deflating a fleeing suspects tires. I always wondered what would happen when the bad guy took off while you were still attached to the tire via your uber tacitcal 1 point sling

I'm just waiting for Duke's to come out with "tactical mayonnaise," and next season I'll plant some "tactical tomatoes." Then, I will really be in bidniz. :D

As an aside , I read several years ago an account from the Korean War where a U.S. Navy Engineer killed a North Korean soldier on the Pusan Perimeter, with a U.S. Model 1917 Naval Cutlass.

Gerber makes a short machete looking thing that has a semi hook in the end. Next time I hit Cabelas I'm gonna buy one. The Woodsman's Pal looks good too.

Had to sample a stand of willows for a biology experiment in college. Those gerber machetes work very well for clearing. I think in 2 days we cut and bundled over 1000 willow trees. Use it with pride, if we couldn't break it, nobody can.

The Woodsman's Pal is wonderfully made. I have one. Costs $70.00. I have a rusty old $8.99 cane knife I got at the feed store. My rusty old cane knife can do anything the Woodsman's Pal can do. Plus it makes a much better paddle than the Woodsman's Pal.

Tell you what-for $70.00 I'll sell you my Woodsman's Pal (that includes shipping)

BTW have y'all seen the latest in survival gear....Dehydrated water.....takes up a lot less space.
