I shot my 1964 M-29-2 for the very first time today.
Its a beautiful S&W.

Here's the range I shoot at. Its here in the park about a mile from my front door.
The gates always locked so there's never anyone here.
The targets are just over 50'.

My friend loaded these for me some time back. Just 48 rounds.

Poor little girl took the first round.  :( ;) :o

The second round took off his trigger finger and the third round took out his two front teeth. :D

I put 47 holes in two targets.
One round mysteriously didn't puncture the paper.

Now to find more .44 Magnum ammo AND, I have a gun to clean. ;) :)

Obviously evidence of a tear in the space-time continuum. Better be careful next time you put up targets, never know when that round will emerge from the wormhole.

Seriously, two rounds have been known to go through the same hole. I just think that my explanation is more original, so I am sticking with it...:D

I don't think she was a hostage, I think she's a co-conspirator. She doesn't look frightened at all. You did the right thing and took them both out of the equation. Excellent marksmanship ! :)

Yes, Kenny. That IS a beautiful S&W!
Plus, you can shoot a mile from your front door?!
Yeah... I'm with GREEN with envy! :D

I'm jealous of the gun, but I'm going to REALLY jealous if you tell me that's your backyard.

Yes and no. I live in a state park and the gun range is past the gate and over the top of the hill.
The gate is always locked.

We rent the area out to large groups like Mountain Man Rendezvous, Boy Scouts and our
state park LEOs do their annual training in there and we do a few state park activities.

Its empty about 99% of the time so I can use it just about any time.

The coolest thing we do in there is we have a huge inflatable movie screen
and a great sound system and in the summer we do drive-in movies. Its awesome. :D

Very nice revolver!

I remember when I used to be able to go out any time I wanted and shoot guns. Back when ammo was available.....a year ago.....

But I know...The Jasons' are on it. They ain't sandbagging or stockpiling....it's "Out There".....We're all just conspiracy theorists....

Really? I will not show you mine, 50 yrd & 300 yrd is part of MY backyard. I have stretched it to 500 yd on a diagonal, unfortunately I have to go else where for 1000 yd. We have had minimal snow this year, just over 60", usually I will have a 13ft high in the center and about 12 ft wide pile of plowed snow on the edge of the driveway by Feb., great fun to take suppressed items, with or without Night vision ( depending on the moon ) for a little 2-3 AM shooting when my back will not let me sleep. I know photo's, tried last week for many hrs and nothing worked. Be Safe,
