Old Army day

It was raining this morning, so after coffee my oldest daughter and I went to Shooters to hang out and shoot the bull. I saw a stainless Ruger old Army with all the fixens, box, paperworwork and Ruger leather flap holster.

It looked unfired and at $400.00 I jumped on it gave them the 100 I had in my wallet and will take the rest there Monday.

It is the adjustable sight model, so it looks like I am into the Blackpowder movement again.

Congratulations! You got a hell of a deal there!

The Ruger flap holsters have become a collector's item, and I've seen them go for $150-$200 at antique shops and online.

They don't make those any more ! And they are great BP revolvers !!

I have been looking for one locally for awhile, they are on the auction sites at way high prices. So i was glad it was still there this morning it had a capper and a mold in the box too.

Great deal, esp. w/ the Ruger flap holster. You are gonna enjoy it, they are too much fun to shoot! BTW, if it is by any chance a 5 1/2" barrel SS one with adj. sights you *really* stole it. Those are right uncommon.

No its the 7 1/2 inch version, but it is still cool
