Heh heh, thanks. And speaking of Bat Masterson, ive got and enjoyed the first two seasons. I dont know if the 3rd and last season was released yet? Also, if I remember? I THINK Steve McQueen was in a 2nd season episode? I know it was one of those series--because I think he was doing his Josh Randall--Wanted Dead or Alive--character. Im also waiting for more seasons of: Tales of Wells Fargo-to be released.

I picked up another Western a month or so ago--but cant remember the title? I just cant think of it off hand? but it was the entire set for whatever Western series it was?

Sky Kings first "Songbird" was a Cessna bamboo bomber or a UC 78 and then a straight tail 310 Cessna and Clipper flew a Cessna 120 or a 140. Jeff

And the first plane used actually belonged to the actor that played Sky King... "Kirby Grant" Hoon, who was a prolific pilot. Kirby was a friend of my wife's family. Her dad worked for Douglas Aircraft in the 50's & 60's, and met Kirby when he was touring the plant, and they became friends.

Kirby was absolutely nuts about aviation, whenever he came to their house for dinner both her and her mom knew better to not bring up that topic, else they would be stuck listening to her dad and Kirby talking about planes throughout dinner.

Kirby Grant Hoon was killed in a traffic accident in 1985 while on his way to Cape Canaveral to watch the launch of the space shuttle Challenger. He was going to be honored for his work promoting aviation and space flight.

Back when I was about 6 years old my cousin had some WW2 airplanes made from heavy card and fully colored that I used to play with and I always wondered where he got them, I was running radio premiums on ebay and found them, they were Jack Armstrong premiums and they have them now on ebay. What used to cost a dime now go for 20 or 30 dollars. Jeff

"Jack Armstrong, all American boy"

The Lone ranger

Don't forget The Green Hornets' faithful Filipino valet "Kato".

No one has mentioned "Superman" (WXYZ Detroit)

I always thought Kato was either Chinese or Japanese. The original Kato was played by a Japanese-American--and of course--Bruce Lee.

Thats actually very cheap for premiums--some easily go for tens of thousands of dollars.

Back when they still made cassettes, we had a dozen or more old radio shows on them--one was War of the World.

Remember X minus 10 science fiction. Suspense Theater, Have Gun Will Travel, The LUX theater.

If you collect DvDs? many released also have the LUX Theater radio version of the movie you just watched. I have several like: She Wore A Yellow Ribbon, Captain Horatio Hornblower RN, and some others. These are included as one of the extras.
