Anybody else recall William Conrad's Cannon character? Never missed with his Colt DS (I think) even with his patented squint….

I remember the show but never watched it, just like a LOT of the action shows from the 80's. The only one I watched was Airwolf.

Indeed he does shoot down a plane. The bad guys had been shooting at him with a machine gun from the plane but he defeated them.

That's because he learned how to shoot when he was Marshall Matt Dillon. You know Marshall Dillon never misses.
