Part of my hammer collection. The horizontal hammers on the right don't have any real collector value. They include hammers given as presents when people found out that I've been collecting hammers. Some were old rusted hammer heads that I cleaned up and replaced the handles.
The vertical hammers on the left are the collectables. Including a Maydole manufactured between 1840 and 1923 with the original handle and some original finish left. An Atha before they were bought out by Stalney in 1913. A 1900 Cheney in like new condition. A pre 1840 strap hammer with the original handle and a Colonial age hand forged hammer head that was pinned to the handle with 2 iron nails pounded flat and pnned to the handle. I just need to find that elusive double claw hammer.
