For me, it's not "how often" but "what type" of shooting.

I am a defensive handgun fanatic, and hate to visit my range when it is busy....since it eliminates my opportunity to go forward of the firing line and work on defensive drills and movement.

So, I go at odd times (during rain storms, early weekday mornings, holidays) to insure an empty range.

Shooting from 25 yds at paper just doesn't do it for me!

I try to get to the range 2 or more times a week.
Almost always can do once. Dry fire at home about twice a week.
I shoot assorted firearms during a session, using CC gun
for a closer. It's only 2 to 3 cylinders, but I always shoot
the CC gun. Can't afford to lose any proficiency I've acquired.

I try and go once or twice a week and shoot 100-300 rounds, mostly 22 as practice for my 9 and 38.

I do not shoot as much as I would like to, but I have started doing serious dry practice. I would need a backyard range and a lot more money to shoot as much as I would like.

My range is 90 miles away. No where between here and there sells 9mm that Im able to get my hands on... I put down once a month. Sometimes every other month depending on if I have bullets to put through the gun or not.

Wish I had known that the shelves would have been stocked forever in 40 cal around here. Would have went with a 40 instead of a 9mm!
