I'm not trying to be the recipe man but I thought some might like this as much as I do.
Hash brown casserole with ham&cheese.
Mix up in a large bowl;
32oz bag of frozen hash browns
10-12oz of diced cooked ham
2 cans cream of potato soup
1/4 to 1/2 cup sour cream( depends on how much you like it)
2 cups shredded cheddar
Salt & Pepper to taste
When its all mixed, put it in
A 9x13" baking dish and top with
1 1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
Bake at 375 for about an hour or golden on top.
You can pre make it and toss it in the oven whenever.
Makes an easy breakfast for a few days.

Sounds good but I would add fresh onion . . . maybe even thaw those hash browns and briefly saute with onion before putting them in the bowl.

I've tried that exact thing with sautéed onions added but didn't like it as much. It completely changed the flavor, and I like onions.
It's just A recipe, you can add or subtract ingredients, increase or decrease quantities to make it however it tastes best.

Thanks for the new dish ill try. Your kinda reminds me of Rosti--which I had at a friends house in Rickenbach, Switzerland 16 years ago.

I like to dice up a few yellow or red potatoes into 1/2" cubes and fry em in 1/4" of oil. When they begin to brown you can add eggs ,mushrooms, scallions cheese or whatever into the mix.Sort of an Americanized roesti [emoji1]
