2024 has really been the year for prayer. I hope this is the last one. Our friend said tonight that there may be no hope for his son, who has serious drug addictions and not a bit of compunction to quit or get help. He has no interest in anything. So please pray for Matthew. We consider ourselves lucky in that our son decided not to pursue drugs once he grew up. Of course we had never prayed so hard in our lives. It sound like this is the only hope for Matthew, human help is gone.

That's one of the hardest things in the world: kicking the drug &/or alcohol addiction. I do believe Divine Intervention is the best hope. My sister-in-law lost two beautiful young daughters in the same year, just a couple few months apart. A knock at the door at 03:30, my BIL knew exactly what the police were there for. I hope the boy gets the help he probably doesn't want; or at least he knows he needs it but doesn't want it. "Just one more, then I'm gonna quit." That doesn't work. Jail, hospital, and a lot of help from above. Good luck to Matthew...I truly mean that.
