One-of-a-Kind Matched Set - Factory Engraved 5-Screw Pinto 357's

It is well that these beautiful weapons have ended up in the collection of someone who understands their importance.

I did more than drool when I saw those guns!

As everyone else has already noted, those .357's are beyond beautiful and words do not do them justice. THANK you for sharing, it's what I love about this forum.

A pair of beautiful firearms to a well deserving caretaker. Life just doesn't get any better than that! CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'll rest easy tonight knowing they will receive the care and LOVE they were made for...

Those are absolutely gorgeous works of firearm art. Congratulations on their purchase. I could never own something like those as I MUST shoot all my pistols, and that would be sacrilege... ;)

Absolutely beautiful. Please be careful not to leave them out in the rain. (Joke). Seriously, I have never been that big a fan of the pintos (not that I ever had a chance to own one anyway), but those masterpieces would make a believer out of anyone. Congratulations on your acquisition!!!

I just had these guns out for a look see and a wipe down and with the stocks off, I took a photo of the engraver's mark on the right grip frame under the stock of one of the guns. If you look closely, you can see that the stamp says "H. B. JARVIS". This is not very common as most factory engraved guns have no engraver's mark (from what I understand, the factory prohibited engravers from marking their work), so it is fun to find one that does.:)

they group the same?

I'm not sure exactly how these two guns group, but I firmly believe that each of my engraved guns shoot better groups than their non-engraved counterparts.;) However, I cannot prove it, because I do not shoot the engraved ones. Cleaning engraved guns takes too dang long.

That is a stunning pair of S&W's, love the grips and the engraving on the revolvers is impressive, I like how it looks like the engraver added "turn lines" to the cylinders. I would say you have the ultimate BBQ gun set. Thanks for showing them to us.

I totally agree with Troystat, and everyone else who has congratulated you, and complimented the outstanding work, and the unique qualities of these pieces of art........

I should add that there is a great deal of responsibility that goes along with the stewardship of this pair of revolvers. Judging by your collection, and your persistence in attempting to acquire these two, the seller must have been relieved at finding the correct person, to pass them on to.......

Best wishes, and thanks for sharing them with us.......
