The SB Blue was $489 plus tax, the RB Blue was $559 plus tax and the Nickel was $539 plus tax (and the sales tax at this gun store, located in a county island, is only 6.3%). Overall, not a steal, but what I thought to be reasonable prices for the condition of the guns.
I don't know why but I've liked the S&W snub nose revolvers since I was a boy but I've never owned one.
I do have a Taurus Model 85 which is basically a S&W knock off . It was given to me a number of years ago and is of pretty decent quality for the price and I can't find fault with it .
But of course it's not a Smith & Wesson .
Smith & Wesson has brought the Classic 36 back on the market , but it sells for over $800 .
While I'm sure it's pretty nice I would take the RB that you paid $559 before the new Classic 36 without thinking twice .
I wouldn't be interested in one to carry or even to shoot very often ....I would just like to have one .
