You guys should invest in the GoPro Hero3 with Wifi, so you can watch your flight on your smartphone or tablet/laptop.

Actually all he would need to do is get the "wifi bacpac" for the Hero 2. I was able to get mine for $50.

Its a good idea unfortunately wifi only goes like 300y , that's a little bit short for future projects.

I would love to be able to fly one of those things but my hand eye coordination for that type of stuff SUCKS! Several years ago the local R/C club had an event, donation and chance to fly a plane with a member.

After loosing sight and control of it for the 4th time, the guy asked if I wanted my donation back!

Regular flying and RC flying are really cool hobbies, but I can't afford more than one expensive hobby. When I'm not shooting I play chess. That's pretty cheap.

It is training training training, believe me I crashed plenty time My biggest fear is a fly away... That's why the copter will send its telemetry back so in case of I could always track it... But it would be 4 lbs of spinning propellers falling out of the sky
