I'm changing over to red dot sights and am very impressed with their cost. If I have a Weigand rails installed on say a K-22, 686 and model 29, what's the chance of using the same red dot sight and ring setup on all of them? I realize elevation and windage would need adjustment.

that approach would be more trouble than its worth.
At any given time, you should be able to randomly grab any arm you have, load it, and expect it to place the first shot.
One sight several arms, means all but one arm in the safe is essentially useless and to use another means needlessly burning up ammo to dial it in over and over.
give em all their own sights or leave the iron sights in play.
