Opinion of Active LEOs on ARs

I've been off the street for a long time. AKs and the like were just coming into play as I was on my way out. I did carry a AC556 in my duty vehicle and loved it. I just didn't have to face one in the hands of a bad guy.

So guys and gals, whats your honest opinion on a possible AR ban. I don't really think a ban has a chance in hell of passing, but just curious.

Thanks for serving and I hope you're enjoying your retirement. I'm retiring in two weeks, from one of the most violent cities in America.
I don't know if a Federal ban will pass or not, too many unknowns. The State level is concerning.
