I am seeking info from anyone out there on my S&W 3913. It was purchased new in Jan 1994 and has only been shot approximately 200 times. Recently I decided to use it for CCW. I did a complete cleaning and lubing. It seems very tight and stiff to rack the slide. Could that be from inactivity or are my hands just getting weak in my old age (70+).

I have been impressed on all the favorable comments on this handgun and glad I kept it all these years.

Comments appreciated. Oh yes info from this forum guided me for a holster at Andrews Leather in Florida which is a great item.

If it fires and cycles properly, I'd suggest that it's just the way it is built. If you have no problems using your hands for other tasks, I wouldn't worry about that either.

I consider 200 rnds a good break in. At 70+ myself the 3913 racks easier than my blowback mak. but harder than my beretta cougar. Its kinda in the middle.
