Opinions for next firearm purchase for CC

I used to carry my 442 almost exclusively...then I got the DS bug (since it's all my dad ever carried) and now my 442 does ankle time about once every two weeks...for hip, I like the DS for it's extra recoil absorbing weight, slightly longer sight radius, and 20 percent more firepower...I also dig the hammer even though it's really not needed on a defense gun...and of course, it's about the coolest looking snubby you could ask for..although I do like the pre-72 unshrouded models even better for old school cool..:)

And yes, those are my initials on that Del Fatti ISP-DD.....:)

As I have to carry department approved for now, when I retire I will be sporting this:

S&W Model 657 .41 Magnum with 3" barrel. I've CC'ed N-Frames before, but there are some limitations. I also like a full size 1911.

That is a beauty. I've never been a revolver guy before. But the more I see pics like this, the more I'm liking them.

So I finally made my purchase. After a lot of research, handling, and some firing, I decided to go with the Sig P938. I just needed something that was very slim and not bulky. I also really didn't feel like stocking up on a new caliber at the moment.

I bought it at my local, family owned gun shop. This is a custom model equipped with Tru-Glo Tritium Fiber Optic Front Sight (amazing btw) and Hogue black rubber grip. It also came with the extendable 7 round magazine. It has a born date of July 26, 2013; so I know that it is not plagued by the issues (FTE/FTF) that the first few rounds of production had.

I'm very happy with this purchase so far. The gun is very light and barely noticeable when carrying IWB. My only complaint is that it's a little bit of pain to put back together after cleaning.

I'll upload more pics later. Thanks again to everyone for their input.

That gun would have been the one I recommended. The only trouble with mouse guns is some folks have problems with limp wristing which causes FTE or FTF. With the 9mm you have the lowest cost of ammo, the highest round count and stopping power as good or better than the other choices.

Let us know how it performs at the range.
