Only silver bullets I got. Joe

It's funny how certain threads can somehow become lodged deep within your subconscious mind and ultimately influence you...

Story Time: Ever since I posted in this thread — although I quickly forgot about it — I've had a sudden drive to stock up on some ammo, which I initially rationalized as an impulse to buy ammo in order to beat any panic buying/shortages which may occur because we're getting into Election Season.
However, for some reason I couldn't explain, the particular brand/round that kept coming to mind was Winchester Silver Tips, which puzzled me because I've never used them before and based on what I've heard are a rather dated design which has been improved upon by subsequent additions to Winchester's ammo catalog such as the SXT, Ranger Bonded, and PDX1. Nevertheless, Silver Tips kept coming to mind, but I couldn't quite recall why, I knew they had come up in a thread somewhere, but I couldn't remember the context at all.

Ultimately, I ended up ordering a bulk pack of Winchester Ranger T, then as if to remind me, someone liked my post in this thread, and it all came back to me.
Unfortunately, Ranger T doesn't have a Silver Jacket, but rather a conventional copper jacket. However, it is the successor to the infamous Black Talon line of ammunition, which is said to have possessed some form of supernatural abilities which allowed it to completely defy the laws of physics, enabling it to do spectacular things like pierce straight through body armor then completely eviscerate the innards of the wearer.
Granted, I'm not sure that Ranger T possesses such capabilities, as it is said that such was the result of proprietary black coating on the bullet, which Ranger T lacks, but if such is the case, then I would be curious to know how well it might fare against Werewolves.
