Ordering S&W parts

Probably not... a few years back S&W instituted a policy of not sell parts "over the counter" to the general public that requires a gunsmith installation, and barrels would fit that category.
In fact if I remember correctly, they even restricted sales to gunsmiths to those that are "S&W factory trained gunsmiths".

Don't know which model you have but unless it's current production, they might not even have the parts - unless common with current production models.

I talked to a person last week in the S&W parts department. I stated that I would like to purchase some parts. She replied, "For which model firearm?". I said, "Model 19-4". She replied, "I'm sorry but we are unable provide parts for those revolvers". I am sure "those revolvers" meant all pre-MIM models.
