I just watched O'Reilly lecturing Lou Dobbs and how he believes Gun Registration will stop killings and crime. My head is killing me.It is as if a properly registered gun won't participate in crime.
His plan will be a list of all gun owners. He didn't mention the part about total confiscation when this doesn't cure society.
The vibrations you feel is our forefathers and veterans rolling over in their graves!

O'Reilly is typically wrong on anything firearms related...

While he does have a fair to midling knowledge base on all things political and historical, he is woefully and pathologically uninformed when it comes to the scope and breadth of the 2nd Amendment, and the current "gun control" legislation put forth by those with an even more pathetic knowledge base.

Not only is he ignorant of the 2n amendment ,but he said ther should be stop & frisk laws . what about the 4th amendment? that blew my mind. Lets enforce a ammendement violation with another.

You could always change the channel to that other not-quite-spin-free "news" channel and take a gander at what Piers has to say:D Probably wont help your head ache though.

At least Bill is a citizen of the US, misguided as some of his opinions are. Knew he supported back ground checks, but registration? Pity

I stopped watching O'Reilly a couple years ago when his head size exceeded his waste. He's got John McCain syndrome, or DC syndrome, or something that stopped the thought process before he speaks!!!

I hope you don't mind, I took the liberty of fixing that for you. :D

O'Reilly is a fake populist. His entire "Looking out for you." BS is, well BS.

There are only a couple of shows on Fox that I can stand to watch. One is Special Report and the other is Your World with Neil Cavuto. Fox Business is better, once Imus goes back to haunting houses or whatever it is he does when he isn't speaking matter of factly on subjects he knows nothing about.

Fox News is generally disappointing. Their anchors and reporters are no more informed and no less opinionated than those on CNN and MSNBC. Or ABC, CBS, and NBC for that matter. Mostly they just read whatever drivel is put in front of them the writers. Who aren't reporters, just writers. Even the field reporters are woefully ignorant on most topics.

News media had some credibility back when they had "Bureaus". They had people who specialized in crime, national news, foreign news, the military, science, and so on. Now it's all general assignment reporters for the most part. There are still some specialists, like the ones that cover DC, and in a few cases international stories, but they are few and far between.

It's all about getting that big story first. Not right, but first. Fact checking seems like a lost art. As is the correction.

Fox at least lets opposing views argue and try to drown each other out. The other networks do not allow viewpoints that disagree with theirs to be presented. All networks tend to just repeat a few news item over and over each day. Most of the programs on all networks are not news, but opinion.

Why anyone supports these screwball talking heads by watching them spewing venom and demonstrating their ignorance baffles me. It's not as if anyone is under some obligation to watch "something, anything" on TV. The most important control on such devices is the "off" switch. These shows serve no informative or elucidating purpose, they merely serve to entertain and rile up the ignorant and ill-informed --- count yourselves out of these categories!

Well I guess I'm different but I like Fox over all the others even though I don't agree with them all the time.

Bill seems to know nothing about guns and the uses that most people use them for. Like all the other so called news people out there he is uninformed and doesn't seem to want to learn anything.

None of them realize that gun registration doesn't do anything to the bad guys only the good hard working average Americans. But then that's all the anti gun people want is to take them away from the average guy, they know the bad guy will get them no matter what.

O'Reilly has been ignorant about firearms-related topics for years. One of his favorite words is "bloviate" ... when it comes to 2A and guns, that's exactly what he does.

If you want to watch a media talking head who has some common sense about 2A, watch Sean Hannity after you time out on O'Reilly @ 9pm.

Hey now... gun registration won't but the confiscations that come after WILL reduce GUN crime, and GUN violence. Just look at China, or the UK, they have almost no gun crime... tons of other violent crime, but its not gun crime, and as we all know, crime not committed with a gun is fine, everyone likes that.

::rolleyes::
