Original Dash One (-1) Picture Thread

Here's a 34-1 I bought new in the 70s.

Took some pics of the 57-1 tonight; noticed it is not listed yet on page one. Will have to download tomorrow and post them, along with a few 14-1 pics. They may be too dark. May need a light and time to retake them.

If my eyes are not just tired tonight, the 57-1 inside the crane was marked 571. Tried to see a dash, but know the 1 is there. It is a blue 4" .41 magnum. Anyway, the day has been long with no rest and we shall soon see. Maybe it is a mis-stamp.?

edit: The book shows the 57-1 was made starting 1982 and the dash two around 1988, with the nickels stopped around 1986. They shouldn't be that rare at all. The N serial numbers match around that era, too.

OK, let's call this a 57 one for right now til time presents itself for verification. Anyone wish to share their thoughts, go right ahead.

But my faves are the K-38s. First is one with incorrect grips, though some of my favorites, that purportedly was one of six on a specific shooting team at a military camp. Have yet to take the time to try and document that claim. Still great story. The second is another 8 3/8" in much better condition concerning the finish. The third is a minty 14-1 six inch. Please excuse the poor quality pics. The 14-1 trio I am fortunate enough to care for awhile:
