I have three original Smith & Wesson tool/fixture drawings, drafted on a leather medium, that were taken from the trash bin while I worked at S & W many years ago. The are in near excellent condition. The images represent 1) Jigg to drill frame for yoke stud and stop, dated August 23, 1894, 2) Fixture to round edges of checking on thumb piece, dated December 26, 1901 and 3) Fixtures to cherry milling thumb pieces, dated December 14, 1901. SIZE: Sight size 15-1/2" w x 11-1/2" h. Drawings have yellowed slightly over time. I believe they were used for machinists to scale as they were building fixtures for use in the building of guns. I would like to sell them, as I have been out of the gun business for many years now. Any interest or suggestions as to where to sell them would be appreciated.
