Out of battery-

Which handbook? The manual for my 92FS doesn't have this in it. Maybe you have a newer manual?

I have the Marine Corps M9 edition In honor of my step dad, Ret. LT Colonel. I believe I got it in '09 or '10. The handbook is for the 92fs.

Thanks for that pic AR-Getsome. My manual definitely doesn't have that paragraph. Mine is from 1989 so, they must have updated the manual.

Holy cr@p salad sandwich. Thanks for letting me know that dropping the round in and releasing the slide was bad for the the M&P's I have been doing that with my Shield. I came from the 92 platform. I figured it was good for all auto pistols.

Atticaz. I just noticed your tag line. You do have your towel and odd bit of fluff, do you not? Goes hand in hand w/ your copy of HHGttU.
Good stuff.

I love that movie. Also, when I was going through some tough times, I got this in a fortune cookie. I laminated it and carry it with me, in my wallet. :)

Read all of D. Adams HHGG books. His stuff is just brilliant! And hilarious! Somewhere along the way, I aquired a "Don't Panic" pin on badge, just as illustrated. May have come with one of his books.
Anyway, thanx. And we are off topic.
My bad, Mod. Nothing further.
