If somebody rather wants to buy 10 S&W or 15 Taurus revolvers instead of one Korth, that is fine with me.
I shot competitions successfully for decades and shot consistently in the mid 90% range. I was always looking for that gun that would bring me consistently above 97% but never found it and sold a lot of those guns again.

I not just kept my Ratzeburg Korths but was so impressed with them, that I researched them, visited both factories, and started collecting them.

And, I would add, not everyone is into the same stuff. I suppose there are truly wealthy people who like to spend their money and who buy the best of everything out there. But I think most people, even the truly wealthy, tend to focus on certain, specific things of interest to them.

I like Korths, and went on, what was, for me, a tear last year. I bought three, and then later sold one. At the moment, I'm happy with two. And I also bought a Manurhin MR73. But, I have never purchased a high end watch or a high end car. Like 'em, but so far not enough to buy one.

We have a member here who about 20 years ago bought up about a dozen RMs. Seemed to be cornering the market on them. He joked — or perhaps wasn't joking — that his RM buying had reduced his diet to instant ramen. (IIRC, he later sold the RMs to help finance a new house.) Last I knew he's now primarily into rimfires, and has a bunch of M41s among others.
