Levi's who? I buy my jeans at Atwoods, for $9.99

He's responsible for his own actions, not me.I can't believe we can go 23 posts into this thread and not one person is holding the idiot who had the negligent discharge in the store even slightly responsible. Really!?
It's what's called "magical thinking". In that alternate reality, a sign will stop somebody bent on committing murder from carrying a gun to do so.As far as stores banning ccw goes, it's interesting that a business open to the public would choose to deny a constitutional right based on a single incident.
I never have a chamber loaded carry piece. I would rather be perforated by some bad guy than accidentally shoot some stranger.
Although a lot of people wear jeans to work (I work in a tech support call center), I never do. None of the consulting companies I've ever worked for allowed it.Levi Strauss has been anti-gun for about 30 years now. I started wearing Wranglers back then or the Wal-Mart brand.
I seldom wear blue jeans anymore; I started wearing 5.11 cargo trousers in Afghanistan and brought home several pair. I pocket carry a Colt Agent and have a HKS speedloader in a cargo pocket.

I didn't cause any "damage", so there's nothing for me to "control".I don't understand your point...mine is that no one has called out the clown who had the negligent discharge trying on a pair of pants in a store. This kind of thing is a gift for the anti-gun lobby. Meanwhile, we're deciding we don't need Levis because we can still buy Wranglers. That's not exactly doing any damage control for the cause, is it?

To hear you tell it, I have a DUTY to give Levi's my money.
They didn't exactly BAN guns. They asked that people not bring guns into the stores.
I suspect you haven't really thought this out...
- How will you "accidentally shoot some stranger" with a holstered firearm?
- How would you carry a five shot revolver? With an empty chamber under the hammer, giving you a "four shooter"?
- Would you rather have an assailant disarm you while you're trying to load an unloaded gun, and shoot you with your own firearm, then possibly turn it on other innocent victims?
