I recently sat thru my concealed carry class and will be obtaining my permit shortly. Have my eye on a Shield, and looking for a decent OWB holster (my stature really makes an IWB holster impractical). Have looked thru the various threads and have seen a couple I like (the Predator Pancake from Wright Leather is very nice), but would like to see pics of what others have.

Thanks in advance.

I use the MTR Cuistom Leather Dual Carry http://mtrcustomleather.net/gun-holsters/
I like it because of the option to carry IWB when needed, but it easily converts to a OWB when practical. It is also comfortable and does not dig into my oversized midsection like some others do.

There are many very nice (most expensive) leather holsters mostly custom and some with Exotic skin trim.

You mention Wright, I would include Hazel, DelFatti, Haugen, Grizzle and some others that are also leather but not quite so expensive like Gould.

Holsters

I have two different OWBs for each of my M&Ps including my Shield:

1. An Atomic Dog Holsters Kydex for when I don't feel the need for retention; these thread on the belt.

2. A Safariland retention holster. I have 6378s for each gun, and I also have one of the new 5378s for my Shield - it's considerably thinner with a different release system. Each of these is on a paddle.

The Desantis Mini-Slide for the Ruger SR9c also fits the Shield, the 3913, and the Beretta Nano perfectly... a simple adjustment of the tension device is all that's necessary.
