Owning A piece of History

I own only one revolver that falls in the category of what I consider to be an "old" Smith-a Triplelock-not the greatest finish but sufficent-I am in awe of this piece-for the technological marvel that it was and is(other than the GP -100 Ruger what other "Triplelock is made today?)and ownership of a relatively rare piece of history considering the brevity in the production period

Welcome to the forum.

I think the history is what drives my interest and desires in S&W's. I have never found a TL at a price I could afford at the time.

I think there is some of rule that says you have to post pictures in a thread like this! I want to see your TL.

There is a sticky thread in the "office" on how to do it, if you are not familiar with the process.

D-I dropped my digital camera-on a tile floor-so If I coulda posted a pic-I woulda-once upon a time before a divorce devastated my collection -I owned two of these puppies -purchased both for $1,200 in the '90's -this one does not have the nice finish those had but-hey these revolvers(mine is a "common" .44S&W Spcl) are darn scarce-and history must be preserved. When I do acquire the digital camera-I will send you a PM with a pic of the TL-which I shoot-using lite handloads-treating her like the fine aged grand dame that she is-an occasional trip to the range and no hot stuff goes through her-even if Elmer says she can handle it
