Always liked OzzY
Gonna dig out a couple CDs for the ride to work tomorrow.
I listened to the first album “Black Sabbath” on the ride home from work.I cranked up an Ozzy CD while I was running errands in Winchester VA this morning.
When my peripheral motor nerve condition started it was, "I don't wanna top" and "Crazy Train."
After Lisa passed, I couldn't and still can't listen to "See you on the other side" without my vision getting blurry.
I don't get it either.Sorry but I don’t think we lost very much musically speaking.
Yeah, you're right. Musically speaking, OZZY didn't create with Black Sabbath an entirely new genre of music nor did he influence generations of musicians. He never sold out stadiums, or go on world tours over the decades. He didn't even have an annual global touring multi-band music festival named after him. He never won Grammy's or any kind of award for his music nor did he have multiple gold or platinum albums solo or with Black Sabbath. He was a nobody.Sorry but I don’t think we lost very much musically speaking.
