Geez!!!!!! I sincerely hope this proposed legislation fails to garner enough votes to pass anything other than the toilet. Register every firearm, be fingerprinted, 2 photo ID's, then annual renewals for every firearm? That will create a massive bureaucracy and I seriously doubt it will be just $10 per firearm.

This has just been proposed and at committee level, has nil to none chances for passage.
A lot of these types of laws are proposed every year but they never leave the table. It amounts to nothing but political grandstanding.
But it is something that needs to be watched.

Not sure how I would react to this. Sell guns or move or do nothing and take my chances? I hope it never materializes.

Just another attempt from a democrat congressman from Filthadelphia. The Phila dems never met a gun control bill they didn't like. It will never pass, but we should still stay vigilant. What rights are the dems wanting to tax next, in order to create their utopian society?

problem is these laws are reintroduced each year till they pass !!

The problem is we need to vote each and every election !! And so many of us don't!!

Thank the good Lord, I live in Texas!! This sounds more like a preparation for future gun seizures. Best of luck to those of you who live in Pa.

Don't think that Texas is immune, more and more people leave the NE and the West coast and move to places like Texas and they tend to bring their political views with them. It sure has happened here in Virginia. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

In another move by some of Pennsylvania's elected officials, the Pittsburgh City Council has passed some gun restrictions of its own for that city.

"The Pittsburgh City Council gave final approval Tuesday to gun restrictions proposed after last year's synagogue massacre, inviting a legal challenge by gun-rights activists who have long tangled with the city over firearms.

After taking an initial vote last week, the all-Democratic council voted 6-3 to send the legislation to the desk of Democratic Mayor Bill Peduto, who is expected to sign the bills into law."

Makes me sick. This is Bill P. using a very bad act of violence to promote himself to a higher position. These 'burghers need to realize that. Sickening.

In my opinion Bill is trying to groom himself for a higher position at either the state or federal level. Pittsburgh always goes democrat so they have nothing to worry about. I hope they disarm the Pittsburgh police because what's good for the peasants should be good for the rulers , but we all know all animals are equal but some are more equal than others

I’ve been watching this closely and hoping it gets squashed out there before if starts giving the Philly crowd of Dems ideas and then trickle down to the neighbors!
