5 years ago I came across a small alligator grain suitcase, half the size of the Box I sold. When laid flat I had room to install a four gun foam pistol rack, leaving room for a my Zeiss Monocular, Magazines, & Ammo. IT is less top heavy, & I can carry it very easily - & it looks very professional. ALL Extra stuff goes in my Mail sack (extra ordinance, lunch, etc.)

Here is one my FIL made back in the fifties, when he got out of the service. He was a master class shooter in both rifle and pistol. You can see that I had to replace the original leather strap and bindings, as they were badly rotted. I added the scope mount/arm when I shot my first match at Perry in 2014.
Rather plain looking, but effective!
