I'm a long time fan of Fobus paddle-style holsters. I have one that was included with a used G48, and I've found that if I put it over on my left side ( crossdraw), I barely notice it when sitting in the driver seat ( on my normal right hip, pressure on the butt-end from the seat makes it very noticeable and uncomfortable ).
Also, since I've always been very leery of a loaded/chambered Glock ( no lectures, please) , I pretty much leave the pistol in its holster, which I can easily and safely put on, or remove, as needed.
Them being relatively economical is a bonus. Win-win, IMO.
