It was a legitimate ad that was marked sold within a few hours after listing, but the buyer wasn't identified. This is from our classifieds rules:
This rule was implemented because we had an issue with people quickly snapping up good deals and flipping the items for a profit. The classifieds are intended to be a benefit to our members, not a place for resellers to cherry pick. Buyers have received lengthly suspension and have even been banned for ignoring this rule.
We want members who actually intend to keep the item to have first crack at it.
The ad will be restored, edited to identify the buyer and closed, once the seller contacts us and explains the disposition.

It's also acceptable if the seller edits the original ad and states, "Sold to <insert buyers username>" or "Sold Elsewhere".
